Learning to be a better person?

The fires are still going strong. I'm happy to see the wind has not picked up. The heat here in Southern Cal. is beyond belief. Today is my grandson Darian's 9th birthday and a neighbor treated him to a couple of hours at the beach. When he got back his mommy took him to our pool. Believe it or not that's a big deal for her because there is an HOA Bar B-Q going on there today. There is a young couple on the HOA board. The wife is jealous of my daughter and has done everything possible to make her miserable. I'm afraid that because I remember my daughter's tears, I'm having a hard time letting it go. But, I proud to say that she is holding her head high. She enjoyed herself visiting with all the neighbors and the other HOA members too. The jealous wife was barely seen in the pool area. I guess she was a bit busy at her townhouse-pouting.

I'm writing my first novel

I can't believe that its almost Sept. I started to blog that I'm attempting to write my first book. But, I would rather say I am writing my first book. Its really slow going but I like what I have so far. I guess this will be a learning experience.
